BabyBodyBirth is a fresh approach to childbirth education that will get you excited about your birth. There are three different modules of classes that may be taken independently or in a series. Check out the calendar below to see my latest schedule.
Body classes are all about you and your pregnancy. Using modern teaching techniques we will explore how to nourish your body, how you body will change and grow in pregnancy, how to exercises effectively and how to really induce deep relaxation. We also will uncover what procedures and tests you will encounter during your pregnancy and how to begin to decide what you might want.
This 2 class series is for you if you're planning a pregnancy or already pregnant up into 34 weeks gestation.
Birth classes will give you the knowledge and power to create your own birth story. This class encompasses many unique learning techniques. Get hands on practice in relaxation and massage as we unveil how to have a more comfortable birth. We will discuss the physiology of birth, what birth may look like, the many procedures that occur in various birthing environments, and what you already know about birth. We'll answer your questions about drug and drug-free births, induction, homebirth, cesarean, and VBACs. This class prepares you for the many possibilities out there to tailor your birth to your family's needs.
This 5 class series is recommended from 16 to 36 weeks gestation.
Baby classes help you bond with your baby before the birth by exploring hands on baby care: diapering, baby wearing, feeding, bathing, procedures and vaccinations. We will discuss how to usher your baby into this world in a welcoming manner and how to continue to nurture your baby. We will discuss practical ways to take comfort in the post-partum period as you transition to this new stage in life.
This 2 class series is for you if you're from 24 to 38 weeks gestation or are a parent adopting a baby.
