Yesterday, my kids and I went for a walk at the Ashland Estate of Henry Clay, here in Lexington.  I chased E through fields of clovers and it was divine!  The image is burned in my mind as a peaceful, heaven-like place and now I’m wanting to create a Top 10 list of places to have a baby, we can pretend that there is complete privacy (if desired) and you can make all the rules.  I’m interested to see what environment evokes the most peace and relaxation for you and where you would want to have a baby.

1. Ashland Estate of Henry Clay

2. In the Black Sea (See Birth As We Know It)

3. In my home, on a spring day, windows open and birds chirping.

4. In Jamaica, on the rooftop of a beautiful bed and breakfast

(See Jake’s Resort – This is my dream vacation spot since I was about 15, never been there but imagine that it is pretty close to paradise).

5. In a taxi cab in Denmark (because Rebekah Tilley’s story is so fun!)

Or maybe just in Denmark because it’s free and then you get these ridiculous pancakes for breakfast afterwords!)
